  1. 6 tiers (Normal–Epic): ability values updated, tiers/mastery section and Normal Wild Staff recipe added.

The Wild Staff is the game's healing weapon. It heals allies one by one or in groups, grants shields and defense, and resurrects fallen allies. A team's survival often depends on a good Wild Staff player.

The Wild Staff's abilities are on the cards at the end of the page; hover over one to see its description, mana, range and times. Pick one from each row with Weapon Aweakings.

Ability damage and healing grow with your weapon's tier; the cards list all 6 tiers in order: Normal / Ruin / Might / Force / Power / Epic.

Tiers and mastery

  • The Wild Staff comes in 6 tiers: Normal, Ruin, Might, Force, Power, Epic. Normal has no sub-levels; every tier from Ruin to Epic has sub-levels I–V, which raise ability values by +0% / +10% / +20% / +30% / +40%.
  • Your Wild Staff mastery grows with the experience you earn while wielding it, from level 1 (Normal) to 6 (Epic). A Normal Wild Staff needs no mastery; equipping Ruin needs level 2, Might 3, Force 4, Power 5 and Epic 6.
  • Experience needed for the next level: 5,000 / 22,000 / 68,000 / 185,000 / 500,000.
  • Normal Wild Staff recipe (Carpentry): 16 Cotton + 8 Log. Higher tiers need 32 Cotton + 16 Logs of that tier (e.g. Ruin Cotton, Ruin Log) plus 1 Parchment of Healt, and your Carpentry mastery must have reached that tier. Catalysts drop from creatures of that tier.
  • New characters can pick a Normal weapon from the New Player Gift at the start.

The healer role

  • Healing abilities can only be used on allies. Press them with Alt to use them on yourself.
  • The Wild Staff has an extra X ability: Resurrect. After 30 seconds of channeling, a dead ally comes back with 900 health.
  • You channel while Holy Light and Holy Explosion run; losing range or sight, or leaving your spot, ends the effect.
  • Its only attack ability is Holy Ball; the rest is healing and protection.

Combos

  • Sudden danger: shield with Divine Protection → boost defense with Holy Grace → refill health with Holy Shot.
  • Team fight: leap into your team with Divine Effect → heal everyone with Halo of Light and Holy Explosion.
  • Steady support: keep up quick heals with Holy Mist; bind Holy Light to an ally taking heavy damage.

Tips

  • Stay behind your team; the healer is the first target.
  • Healing works poorly on allies under Heal Debuff; get them cleansed first (Leather's Cleanse).
  • Resurrect takes 30 seconds and moving cancels it; only start it when it's safe.
