This page covers special items that are useful outside combat and professions: talismans, the piggy bank, name changes, exchange deeds, dyes, potions and teleporting.

Catalysts

When crafting Ruin – Epic weapons, sets, talismans and bonus items, a tier-specific catalyst is consumed on top of the materials: a Crystal for weapons (e.g. Force Spear Crystal), a Mastery Book for sets, a Hits Orb for the Hits Talisman, a Drop Book for the Luck Talisman, an Exp Bonus Book for the Exp Boot, a Kit for the Armor Robe and Damage Shroud, and so on.

Catalysts drop at random from creatures of that tier and land in the corpse:

Bosses (Guile, Irk, Spite, Virulent) always drop a catalyst when killed. The catalyst is a random one from the creature's tier.

Talismans

Talismans go in your character's talisman slot and give a lasting bonus. You can wear one talisman at a time. The bonus grows with its tier:

Monster Defense TalismanDefense Bonus Pvp / Pvm5%7%9%11%14%

Talismans have no Normal tier. Hits and Luck Talismans are made with Carpentry, Monster Damage and Monster Defense Talismans with Leatherworking. Each Hits Talisman needs the Hits Orb of its own tier (Ruin Hits Orb … Epic Hits Orb). See Crafting.

The Exp Book gives 50 – 450 experience depending on its tier when double-clicked; you need a weapon or set equipped to use it.

Kumbara (piggy bank)

The Kumbara lets you carry your gold safely. It doesn't drop into your corpse when you die; it stays with you.

  • It binds to you on the first double-click; nobody else can use it.
  • Altın Ekle (add gold): adds a pile of gold from your backpack.
  • Tüm altınlarımı kumbaraya aktar (deposit all): adds all the gold you carry at once.
  • Altın Çıkar (withdraw): take out up to 1,000,000 gold at a time.
  • Check: creates a check worth 100,000 to 1,000,000 gold. It can be given to another player and turns into gold when double-clicked.

The Kumbara has no limit and can't break.

Rename Deed

The Rename Deed changes your character's name. It's sold by the Scribe NPC in Britain for 250,000 gold. Double-click it, type your new name and confirm.

  • The name must be 3 to 16 letters.
  • Symbols, digits and spaces aren't allowed.
  • Your new name must also follow the Server Rules.

Exchange deeds

  • Weapon ExChange: turns a weapon in your backpack into a random different weapon of the same tier and level. It can't be used on Normal weapons.
  • Armor ExChange: turns an armor set in your backpack into one of the other two groups at the same tier and level (e.g. Platemail into Leather or Cloth).

Take the item off before using the deed; equipped items can't be exchanged. Both deeds are sold by the Scribe NPC in Britain for 150,000 gold each.

Each dye is sold by the Scribe NPC in Britain for 20,000 gold. Mount colours aren't dyed; they change through your mount costume collection. See Mounts and Costumes. To change your character's skin, hair and beard colours, use the New Character Style deed (Scribe, 50,000 gold).

Teleporting

  • Moongate: fast travel between cities and important areas. See Travelling by Moongate.
