Recent Updates
- Daily reward is 5,000 + level × 1,500 gold; season winner gets 250,000 gold + 500 credits + costume. New Guild Treasury and Monday tax (level × 10,000), overdue locks the reward. Britain is unsafe during its city war.
A guild is a community of players who grow together under one banner. The experience its members bring in levels up the guild, daily quests get done, new privileges unlock, and the guild competes with others in wars and the season rankings.
Founding a guild
To found a guild you need:
- A Guild Deed from the Provisioner vendor
- A 200,000 gold founding fee
- A guild name of 3 to 18 characters
- A guild abbreviation of exactly 3 characters
The request isn't approved right away; the guild name and abbreviation go to staff for approval. If approved, the guild is founded and you become the Guild Master. If refused, the Guild Deed and the 200,000 gold are returned in full to your bank box.
Open the guild menu with the Guild button on your paperdoll or the K key.
Members
A guild can have up to 25 members. The main page lists members' names, the experience they've brought in and when they were last seen.
- The Guild Master and officers can invite new players, give members titles and remove members.
- Only the Guild Master can grant or revoke officer rights.
- Regular members can leave the guild from their own row.
- Guild chat sends a message to every online member.
Members of the same guild can't attack each other.
Guild experience and levels
Guilds start at level 1 and can reach level 10.
- Experience from creatures killed by members goes to the guild and to the member's personal contribution.
- Premium members bring their guild 50% more experience from creatures.
- Daily quests also give guild experience.
- Your personal contribution only counts while you're in that guild; it doesn't move with you to a new guild.
| Level | Guild experience needed |
|---|---|
| 2 | 56,800 |
| 3 | 86,800 |
| 4 | 116,800 |
| 5 | 146,800 |
| 6 | 176,800 |
| 7 | 200,800 |
| 8 | 230,800 |
| 9 | 260,800 |
| 10 | 290,800 |
The level, experience counter and progress bar at the bottom of the guild menu are shown on every tab.
Daily guild quests
Every guild has three shared daily quests; creatures killed by any member count toward the same progress.
| Target | Needed | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Orc | 200 | 2,500 guild experience |
| Corpser | 300 | 2,500 guild experience |
| Headless | 500 | 2,500 guild experience |
- When all three are done, the guild also earns 45 season points.
- Quests reset every day at 00:00.
- Once all of the day's quests are done, every member can claim a daily reward once: 5,000 + guild level × 1,500 gold (6,500 at level 1, 12,500 at level 5, 20,000 at level 10).
- If the guild has an unpaid weekly tax debt, the daily reward is locked until the debt is paid. See Guild treasury and weekly tax.
Level rewards
| Level | Reward |
|---|---|
| 3 | Guild cloak: pick from 15 colours; it can be removed and taken again from the menu. |
| 6 | Guild mount: with a Guild Horse Token from the Provisioner; 15 colours. Can't be taken while you're on another mount. |
| Every level | Daily increase: the daily quest reward rises by 1,500 gold per member with each guild level (20,000 gold at level 10). |
Guild treasury and weekly tax
The Treasury button in the guild menu header opens the guild's shared gold treasury. It shows the balance, the weekly tax, the next tax time and the latest treasury activity.
- Deposit: Any guild member can deposit gold; the minimum is 1,000 gold.
- Withdraw: Only the Guild Master can withdraw. Withdrawals are blocked while tax is overdue.
- Weekly tax: Every Monday at 00:00, guild level × 10,000 gold is taken from the treasury (for example 50,000 gold at level 5). A newly founded guild pays no tax in its first week.
- Overdue: If the treasury can't cover the tax, the debt builds up, all members are notified and the daily guild reward is locked until it is paid. Depositing enough gold pays the debt automatically; the Guild Master and officers can also use the Pay Tax button.
Diplomacy and alliances
The Diplomacy tab of the guild menu manages alliances and open world wars. Sending, accepting, refusing and withdrawing invitations and ending an alliance are up to the Guild Master.
Players of allied guilds:
- See each other with a green name and green health bar.
- Can't attack each other.
- Count as the same side in guild wars.
- The invitations screen shows alliance invitations on the left and war invitations on the right. Each shows the other guild's level, rank and member count.
- Pending invitations are valid for 7 days; the sending Guild Master can withdraw one before it's answered.
Open world guild wars
When sending a war invitation, the Guild Master sets the terms:
- Duration: 10 – 1,440 minutes
- Kill target: 1 – 10,000
- Once accepted, both guilds and their allies become opposing sides.
- The first side to reach the kill target wins. If time runs out, the side with more kills wins; a tie ends in a draw.
- Sides can't switch by forming alliances while the war is on.
- If one of the main guilds is disbanded during the war, the other side wins by default.
- Killing the same player again within 10 minutes gives no points. Kills in safe zones don't count.
Guild Wars: 5v5
- Register for your guild's 5v5 team in the Guild Wars section of the guild menu; each guild can register 5 players.
- The event starts every day at 22:00; a countdown is announced at 21:55.
- A match needs at least two guilds with five registered, online players each. With more ready guilds, several matches run at the same time.
- Each team starts with 150 points. Capturing the control stones on the map lowers the opponent's points.
- When time runs out, the team with more points wins; if a team drops to zero, the match ends early.
- A win gives 150 season points, a draw 75 to each guild.
City Wars: 16v16
Guilds fight for control of the Britain and Moonglow city stones.
| City | War | Stone action window |
|---|---|---|
| Britain | Saturday 23:00 | Saturday 21:00 – 23:00 |
| Moonglow | Sunday 23:00 | Sunday 21:00 – 23:00 |
- Each guild can register up to 16 players; the war needs at least 3 registered, online players on each side to start.
- A guild that captures an unowned city stone becomes the city's owner. Another guild can challenge the owner to start a city war. Allied guilds can't open city wars on each other.
- Sides start with 500 points; control points and end-of-war points decide the winner.
- In a draw, the current owner keeps the city. The stone reopens in the next week's window.
- Warning: While the Saturday Britain city war is running, Britain is not a safe zone; PvP is enabled in the city. When the war ends Britain becomes safe again, and both changes are announced server-wide.
Monthly guild season
Guild seasons follow the calendar month. At the end of the month the season closes, rankings are archived and the new season starts from zero.
| Activity | Season points |
|---|---|
| Completing all three daily guild quests | 45 |
| Guild war win | 150 |
| Guild war draw | 75 |
- The Season screen shows the current ranking and the time left in the season.
- The Past Seasons screen keeps earlier months' rankings; disbanded guilds show as "Disbanded Guild".
Season first place reward
Every member of the guild that finishes the month first receives:
- 250,000 gold (as a check in your bank box)
- 500 credits (straight to your account)
- Armor Steed costume (in your mount costume collection)
Rewards are delivered automatically when the season closes; the same reward is never given twice.
Tips
- Do the daily quests together; when all three are done, everyone can claim the daily gold reward.
- Always keep at least one week's tax in the treasury, or the daily reward gets locked.
- Premium members noticeably speed up the guild's leveling.
- Pick a guild name that follows the Server Rules; inappropriate names aren't approved.
