  1. 6 tiers (Normal–Epic): ability values updated, tiers/mastery section and Normal Daisho recipe added.

The Daisho is a melee weapon that fights fast and fluidly with its twin blades. It draws its power from Edge stacks: build stacks with quick strikes, then unleash them all at once with a powerful finisher. It's effective against single targets and against groups of enemies around you.

The Daisho's abilities are on the cards at the end of the page; hover over one to see its description, mana, range and times. Pick one from each row with Weapon Aweakings.

Ability damage and healing grow with your weapon's tier; the cards list all 6 tiers in order: Normal / Ruin / Might / Force / Power / Epic.

Tiers and mastery

  • The Daisho comes in 6 tiers: Normal, Ruin, Might, Force, Power, Epic. Normal has no sub-levels; every tier from Ruin to Epic has sub-levels I–V, which raise ability values by +0% / +10% / +20% / +30% / +40%.
  • Your Daisho mastery grows with the experience you earn while wielding it, from level 1 (Normal) to 6 (Epic). A Normal Daisho needs no mastery; equipping Ruin needs level 2, Might 3, Force 4, Power 5 and Epic 6.
  • Experience needed for the next level: 5,000 / 22,000 / 68,000 / 185,000 / 500,000.
  • Normal Daisho recipe (Blacksmithing): 16 Iron Ingot + 8 Log. Higher tiers need 32 Ingots + 16 Logs of that tier (e.g. Ruin Ingot, Ruin Log); Might and above also need 1 Daisho Crystal, and your Blacksmithing mastery must have reached that tier. Catalysts drop from creatures of that tier.
  • New characters can pick a Normal weapon from the New Player Gift at the start.

Edge

Most Daisho abilities grant you an Edge stack.

  • Up to 3 stacks.
  • Each new stack refreshes the duration to 8 seconds; if you don't gain a stack for 8 seconds, they're all lost.
  • Your stack count shows on the buff bar as Daisho Keskinlik and above your character.
  • Soul Reaper and Furious Attack consume all stacks and deal far more damage for each one.

Combos

  • Single target: build 3 stacks with Piercing Blow → silence the target with Cutter Knife while keeping your stacks → dash in and stun with Furious Attack.
  • Crowds: hit several enemies with Hero Strike to fill your stacks fast → slow them with Knife Breath → unleash on all of them with Soul Reaper.
  • Defense: when your opponent goes for a heavy attack, raise Parry Shield; it blocks most of the damage, reflects part of it, and the first blocked hit gives you a stack.

Tips

  • Use finishers (E) at 3 stacks; using them at 1 stack wastes most of the damage.
  • Stacks vanish after 8 seconds; don't hold your finisher too long.
  • Cutter Knife interrupts the ability your opponent is casting; save it for spells with a cast time.
